Carlos Font

Chief Executive Officer

Carlos is our Chief Executive Officer and joined AMI in 2023 and has over 20 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry. He oversees the AMI Team globally and is responsible for strategy, trading, and operations. Working closely with the senior team, Carlos leads the development and implementation of short and long-term strategy and driving the collective team to achieve our shared vision.


Mark Rhynes

Chief Financial Officer

Mark is our Chief Financial Officer and joined AMI in 2018. He is a Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and has over 10 years of experience in logistics. Mark has overall responsibility for financial performance, management and reporting. Alongside Carlos (CEO), he leads M&A and with a focus on due diligence and the investment appraisal processes.


Steven Ritchie

Vice President IT

Steven is our VP for IT and joined us in 2018 with more than 20 years technology leadership experience.  Steven is responsible for our operating and digital platforms, leading an enterprise-wide transformation that will completely revamp the customer experience and technology platforms.


Johan Sandahl

Vice President APAC

Johan is our VP for the Asia Pacific region and is based in Sydney, Australia. Johan is a senior multiskilled logistics executive with extensive commercial and operational experience gained over 26 years plus in the industry.


Matt Johnson

Vice President EMEI

Matt is the VP for Europe, the Middle East and India, and is based in the UK. Matt joined AMI in 1987 and has over 37 years of experience working for AMI across a number of varied roles.


Milton French

Vice President Africa

Milton is our VP for the Africa region and is based in South Africa. Milton has been with AMI for over 16 years and has over 20 years of experience with extensive knowledge of the air freight sector in Southern Africa.
